Lately I have been feeling down.
I am homesick, I have not re-adjusted to NY weather and so the cold is getting to me.
All I want to do is stay indoors and watch movies.
I don't even have the desire to take pictures.
I love to take pictures!
I also have not been spending time reading God's word, worshipping.
I am beginning to catch on to the connection.
Today in QT I read from Isaiah 40: 25-27
25-26"So—who is like me? Who holds a candle to me?" says The Holy.
Look at the night skies:
Who do you think made all this?Who marches this army of stars out each night, counts them off, calls each by name—so magnificent! so powerful!— and never overlooks a single one?
27-31Why would you ever complain, O Jacob,
or, whine, Israel, saying,
"God has lost track of me.
He doesn't care what happens to me"?
Don't you know anything? Haven't you been listening?
God doesn't come and go. God lasts.
He's Creator of all you can see or imagine.
He doesn't get tired out, doesn't pause to catch his breath.
And he knows everything, inside and out.
(Isaiah 40:25-27, The Message)
I was reminded that the God who knows each and every star,
and there is evidence of how innumerable they are,
He knows me. He has not forgotten me.
The Star Keeper is even more interested in me
More than in the most shiny of stars.
So even in this time of homesickness and whatever else I am going through,
God dey.
