This quote summarizes my take on health care. It drives me to continue on this road I feel I am called... to continue to pursue and engage in all endeavours that will assist me, along with others, to build fences. Prevention is better than cure they say. Maybe not in every case, but prevention frees up money for things other than cure... education, agriculture, engineering, training, research even. Public Health has gripped me because of the propensity it has to engage communities in preventive measures. And when these are carried out in culturally appropriate, community owning, people participating ways, what a great impact they will have!
