Abuse

I just recently found out that an individual very close to me was abused as a child and she is not the first I know of. This she says has led her to a life of insecurity and sexual promiscuity. I hurt for her and the others who have had to deal with this and know I have no idea of the pain this experience has brought. It is at times like this that I question God; his sovereignty, and his heart... Any abuse is wrong obviously, but sexual abuse does things to you unlike anything else.

What is the greater purpose Lord? How do you expect us to see beyond the present and look forward to beautiful things?
